The Financial Audit Authority Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Al Ameen Services to Strengthen Communication and Community Security
Dubai – UAE, January 27 2025 – The Financial Audit Authority (FAA) signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Ameen Services ensure compliance with standards of integrity. This move is a part of the joint efforts to enhance society’s awareness of the dangers of corruption and to unify efforts to monitor and fight corruption, which would help to create a stable environment that strengthens economic security.
Al Ameen Services is a strategic partner that supports society and has a vital and effective role in enhancing public awareness through various campaigns that focus on preventing risks that might impact social safety and security. These awareness campaigns allow the public to safely and confidentially inform of security notifications and negative phenomena to be dealt with and controlled without causing damage. On the other hand, the Financial Audit Authority assists in the control of public funds and solidifies transparency, integrity, and the fight against administrative and financial corruption in all its shapes, forms, and methods in the affiliated entities to ensure the security of the financial and control system in Dubai.
This strategic partnership will support the mutual cause in raising awareness via social media platforms, organize and hold joint awareness lectures and workshops to enhance integrity and fight corruption. In addition, the incoming notifications to Al Ameen Services, which lies within the Financial Audit Authority, in accordance with the law of its establishment to address any corruption in the control systems within the entities under the auditing supervision of the Authority and finding solutions to address these issues and prevent recurrence.
For his part, H.E. Abdulrahman Al Harib, Director General of the Financial Audit Authority, stated the importance of this collaboration to consolidate the efforts between the various institutions and society to raise public awareness of the joint responsibility to enhance transparency, saying “We believe that partnership with Al Ameen Services will contribute to the enhancement of preventive measures and increase awareness of integrity and fighting corruptions, which will create a safe and stable environment for all members of the society. We at the Financial Audit Authority commit to all standards to enhance transparency, contribute to protect public resources, and raise the sense of responsibility among individuals and institutions alike.”
Mr. Omar Al Falasi, the General Supervisor of Al Ameen Service, welcomed the collaboration with the Financial Audit Authority in Dubai. He noted that this agreement is part of a strategic plan aimed at strengthening partnerships with government entities across the UAE and unifying efforts to achieve the shared goals and future aspirations of both parties. This collaboration contributes to building a safe and stable society in alignment with the wise leadership’s vision for the nation.
Regarding the agreement’s provisions, Al Falasi explained that the framework of cooperation includes organizing joint awareness campaigns, disseminating educational messages via social media platforms, and conducting collaborative workshops to promote various values, such as integrity and anti-corruption.
Al Falasi also emphasized that through these fruitful partnerships, Al Ameen Service seeks to achieve its ultimate goal of raising community awareness and empowering individuals to become active partners in realizing comprehensive national security.
